SHARK INVESTIGATIONS
With in excess of 200 million sharks killed each year, many species are threatened with extinction. The largest driving force is for the fin industry, however sharks are also killed for their meat, liver oil (squalene), cartilage and skin.

GLOBAL WHALING ISSUES
Currently there are three main countries still carrying out commercial whaling in opposition to the 1986 Global Moratorium on Whaling. These are Japan, Iceland & Norway. There are also small scale aboriginal hunts around the world that continue.
IUU FISHING INVESTIGATIONS
One in five of all fish caught comes from an IUU vessel. This means they were either caught illegally or from an unreported or unregulated fishery. In many cases these illegal fishing operations use slave labour to crew their vessels.

THE PLASTIC OCEAN CRISIS
Plastic….a great material used incorrectly for all the wrong reasons. Plastic never goes away, it just breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces, becoming microplastics and then nano plastics. With plastics now being found in not just our foods but our bodies, the plastic crisis is one of the biggest threats in our oceans.
CORAL REEF PROTECTION
Coral reefs are home to more than 25% of all life in the ocean, yet they make up only 1% of the oceans footprint on Earth. These important ecosystems are very delicate, living colonies that are easily affected by even the most minor of changes of temperature, acidity, or pollutants.
